Barks and Crock : Summer Savage.
Berlin based electronic music - from ambient atmospheric to dance.
Here comes
Berlin's alternative to the worn out Ibiza-House. The album starts up with the
track "I won't cry", a singer-songwriter theme, mixed with some smooth
electronic house beats. The song was produced in collaboration with the
brilliant Berlin-based jazz musician Gita Delvenakiotis, a Greek-German concert
pianist, singer and composer. She participated in big film festivals, Cannes,
for example, has won prizes at the Steinway Competition and has given concerts
all over the world.
With "Summerwaves" the album evolves into electronic summer house style music.
Uptempo easy-listening parts blend with more club-orientated ones, like in the
song "Love You", or the great minimal house track "Westsidebeat". The whole
album is peppered with elaborate vocals and lyrics praising the summer. So get
your summer feeling whenever you need it. The album ends with a bonus remix of
"Love You". Summer Savage will max out the feelgood pop attitude that is
inherent in every great summerday. Smiles included.
