Seth Carlin : Mozart in the Age of Enlightenment.
Fortepiano music from the early 1800s.
The New York Times describes Seth Carlin's interpretations of Mozart as "sparklingly transparent," and this album definitely showcases his gift for celebrating the bright, buoyant side of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's work. Carlin's own sense of joy in the music is palpable throughout the performance, and he has an absolutely impeccable sense of timing.
