The Variable EP is a collection of experimental excursions by electronic music pioneers from the past to the present. The concept of this project was for each artist to personally select a song from Cavalcade's new album Dare to Think, and to reinterpret those songs with no particular theme in mind.

The interesting result is tracks 2, 3 and 4 with a special guest appearance by Meat Beat Manifesto on track 1. Track 5 is Cavalcade's answer to George Cochrane's remix of "Filthy", a sort of tag team remix effort by the two. It is with honor and respect for Benny E. Sanches (aka Cavalcade) to host this body of work by some of his biggest influences in the world of electronic music.
