Ontogeny by Kourosh Dini Kourosh Dini : Ontogeny.
Minimalist piano with slashes of ambient electronics.

Ontogeny is a conceptual work designed to represent the sequence of life from conception to death. It is entirely composed in the medium of one synthesized voice as a symbol of the journey of any one person. It is the most artistically unified piece of Kourosh's works to date.

Mark Lush, Midwestbands.com gave it the following review.
"I am a musician, but after listening to Kourosh Dini's latest release Ontogeny, I have come to the realization that I am not an artist! There is no way that I can imagine how he was able to conceptualize and create this project! I mean, it's one thing to have an idea to create a soundscape representative of life from birth to death; it's another to actually put pen to paper, fingers to keys, and sound to tape, and come out with a finished project that is believable and convincing! Like a sculptor or a painter, Kourosh saw a void, and filled it with something beautiful!
