On this album we have recorded some canzonas for solo or duo instruments (recorder and viola da gamba) and some sonatas for recorder and basso continuo. Karel Smagge also played some solo works on the organ of the Meerburgkerk Zoeterwoude in the Netherlands.

Although we were in this combination joined for the first time, our musical temperaments matched remarkably well.

This album was recorded during rehearsal time for a concert program with Italian baroque music in the Summer of 2013.
