Wood, a new spin on acoustic fingerstyle music, using loops, samples and effects to create whole arrangements: drums, bass, ambient textures, fuzzed-out guitar solos; it's all there, and it all originated from an acoustic guitar, giving the album a very unique sound. That's not to say there isn't room for tradition. Half of the songs are more straightforward solo pieces, balancing things out.
