Unravel and/or time travel to Hans Christians' glorious Cinema Of Dreams, a collection of solo cello pieces combined with keyboards, sarangi, tape, nyckelharpa, sitara, bass, sarod, and various rhythm instruments. This album also has some great sound design with tape effects, backwards phrasing, half speed loops and more. Finding new musical settings for the cello has always been of interest to Hans, and on this CD he has discovered some amazing new territory in this regard. Some pieces have an electronic quality with oscillator-driven drone scapes, while others incorporate a distinctly classical orchestral sound. Esoteric yet very warm. Enjoy!
