Polaris combines ethno vocals with sometimes smooth, sometimes massive electronic beats and a huge range of wide-ranging instruments. World percussion meets rare and strange tone generators like ancient glass bowls or conch shell horns.

Most of the vocals consist of cutted and recomposed syllables of exotic languages - except "Let there be silence", sung by Sigrid Haverkamp. The tracks 7 to 11 are experimental rhythmic soundscapes including song-like fragments, shaman singer (Polaris) or slow moving trombones over a hypntoic monotone bass (Roll & Roll & Roll).
