Hector Mukomol : The Unexplored World (Journey of Consciousness).
Ambient travels through a personal universe.
In the sphere of ambient Hector Mukomol (Genadiy Mel'nyk) is, presumably, one of
the best known musicians today, at least in the territory of the CIS. Personally
I, for example, heard his music first in Russia - although he lives and creates
in Kyiv. However, it would be even strange if global geography had any
substantial influence on the presence here. Because the space of his works is
directly related to internal geography, to travels of a person in the internal
universe - and as is known, is the direct reflection of the external universe.
Consequently - not subject to borders.
Moreover, this time Mykola Oorzhak took
part in recording the album by Hector Mukomol. This is also a person who is not
simple, and known in the world - and his depth has become an important part of
the local sound field. Actually, the author tells us about it in the booklet, I
will not retell it therefore. I will say about another thing. Music is usually a
guide - in various places - and a purposeful guide. But high-quality ambient, as
to me, does not send a listener in any concrete direction. It, as a bullet,
grows harmoniously, broadens in all directions at once - and, in fact, that is
what happens to the audience. The crooked becomes smooth, cavities are filled
in, slits grow over - this music helps a person to become integral. Healthy.
Light. What is needed is the desire and readiness to work, because hurrying is
impossible here. And, since you are already here - maybe, you should try...
Songs:
