This album of folk music was written and recorded during a period of deep reflection regarding my coming of age. I grew up at the height of the Cold War. "Duck and Cover" was a favorite school AV slide show of the era, showing us youngsters how to protect ourselves from nuclear Armageddon by hiding under a school desk. Of course, the mysterious secrets of women confront a young boy early, even in the most bazaar social environments. And thankfully, life goes on.
