Evolutions by Jamie Janover Jamie Janover : Evolutions.
Innovative hammered dulcimer.

Hammered dulcimer takes a road less traveled. From the wellspring of creativity that is 2002 national hammered dulcimer champion Jamie Janover's recording "Evolutions".

Evolutions is a digital recording of solo hammered dulcimer improvisations. Jamie recorded four days worth of improvisations and chose his favorites after weeks of listening to all the material. He played a custom 4+ octave, fully-chromatic, hammered dulcimer with a custom dual-damper pedal system made by the respected builders Sam Rizzetta and Nicholas Blanton. Evolutions has 12 pieces that flow through a range moods. This has been a popular title over the years with thousands sold since it was released in 1993. It has been featured on NPR, massage videos, and on documentary soundtracks.
