He's a medical doctor, United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, a poetry teacher, and, oh--did we mention a red hot rocker? Junoon frontman Salman Ahmad has a gift for creating highly mystical yet topical songs, and his most recent album Infiniti includes standouts galore inlcuding "Tu Lang Ja" and "Ghoom Tana"--a sweeping track that makes you feel all the big, heroic feelings you felt when you first heard songs like "Where The Streets Have No Name." Maybe that's why Bono recently wrote to Ahmad to identify himself as "a fan."
