"The Bubble or the Spirit" is the latest album by the trip hop and chill out artist Kalabi. Well known for fusing dub bass with lush ambience, he heads in a more cinematic direction this time around, and touches on some of the moodier sides of chill out. Kalabi has built on his previous work here, and moved away from the traditional trip hop beats into some diverse time signatures.
