Kalotone : Oubaitori.
Melodic dubstep and heavy electronic stimulation.
After a 5-year hiatus, Kalotone returns with 'Oubaitori' - an eclectic mix of Japanese-themed electronica. Around 10 beats per minute slower than his typical Dubstep sound, but still full of rich melodic synths, progressive structures, and carefully chosen instrumentation.
This album consists of a collection of unique dance beats as well as some down-beat ambient and experimental pieces to bring the album to a close. Track-by-track, Kalotone fuses decades and genres into compositions - from 90s-style piano, 80s-style drums, 70s-style lead guitar and modern-day lead melodies.
A must-listen for any music fan.
