Miss Calamity Basket (pronounced baskay) runs a small tobacconists in the crumbling concrete precinct of a Midlands town. Occasionally Miss Basket invites a customer into her parlour to sample "something a bit different".

Episode 6: Mr. Bentwhistle's Brand New Bass Gear
In his bedsit just off the Leicester ring road Ron is rooting through the kitchen cupboard for something vaguely appetising when he pulls out a naked action man claiming to be Satan. As he thinks to himself "Well it's finally happened", Satan offers Ron one wish in return for his immortal soul. After making the deal to become the best bass player in the East Midlands, Ron retires to bed hoping to feel better in the morning. When every week the Leicester Mercury brings news of yet another local bass player dying in unusual circumstances Ron begins to believe he hadn't been hallucinating after all and orders some new bass equipment.
