Music will make you go Insane by Mark Boulle and the Haba Dudes Mark Boulle and the Haba Dudes : Music will make you go Insane.
Rolling roots folk pop from the band of australian singer-songwriter mark boulle.

Released in 2008, this is the third album from Roots Folk artists Haba Dudes. An album that will go round and round in your car or at home on the stereo. This album is a beguilingly bittersweet mixture of optimism and poignancy. 12 tracks comprise this Folk Acoustic-based release starting with the punchy I Miss You and finishing with the dreamy wandering of I See You I Need You.

The lyrics on this album are both personal and evocative, full of imagery, and painting pictures and telling stories in a way in which you get to fill in the gaps in your own mind. The themes that stand out are love, travel, substance addiction, the search for contentment, and the appreciation of the simple beauty of life. Mark explores these themes through songwriting that is, like his voice, completely unpretentious and easily accessible. His band of Haba Dudes sound great on this album from Elodie Mayberry on violin through to the percussive wonders of Keith Stephens on drums.
