The Mardom Movement by Maneli Jamal Maneli Jamal : The Mardom Movement.
East through to west acoustic guitar.

In the past, I've released two other Movement CDs. One was dedicated to my love life at the time (The Ziur Movement) and the other to my family's nomadic journey to Canada (The Lamaj Movement). I've had this idea in the back of my mind for years: how can I write an album that's about the people who have inspired me through traveling and touring the world the past few years? This project was a big step forward for me because I've gotten the chance to play with some world class players who have taught me something important about music: the art of sharing it with others. This CD is mostly a collection of collaborations with other instrumentalists, but also a few solo guitar compositions. A special thanks to all 133 Kickstarter backers from all over the world for making this CD come to life!
