"Motherland" is a homage to that space we call home. All of these songs have been written away from my motherland which is Spain, and most importantly maybe away from this home I'm trying to find through this long and tortuous journey of mine. Our Motherland makes us strong and makes us aware of the power inherent in us as human beings. Being away from it makes life more difficult.

The songs reflect on my life experiences away from my Motherland and are a homage to all those people around the world that live away from theirs.
