Wow. Suchita Parte has an incredibly beautiful voice, and Designer Bliss really brings out the natural softness and femininity of it. The opening track, "Tvamekam Sharannyam" is so deeply pretty, as is "Pandurangashtakam" and "Narayanam,"" but really the entire album is a very successful, subtle pop update of a classical Indian style. Parte's dulcet and delicate voice is at the exact center of things (where it should be), but she never pushes it or tries to dominate the overall sound. Completely sublime, highly recommended.
