Children of Light by Proteus Noir Proteus Noir : Children of Light.
Trilogy of influences creating intelligent electronic pop.

The instrumental steam of Proteus Noir is a dark and mysterious, but leaves enough space for an energetic drive to the dance floor. Arrangement and flow is followed with the spirit of dynamic eighties and early nineties but with more complex and sharp sounds. The music made by Proteus Noir is a successful blend of different longings to create music, a culmination of complementary emotions, meeting at the same creative spot while spinning into three different directions.

The album Children of Light is a journey into personal feelings. It is one big emotional trip and a message to the world that there is still enough space for hope. It is searching for the light inside us from different perspectives. A dark metaphorical expression, with the light in our hearts.... We are not good or bad, we are not looking for good or evil. We simply are here, lost somewhere in the moment of technological inspiration, searching for a truth.

Some songs, like 'Something to believe','Sweet nightmare' and ambitious 'All around' are a personal note, how to find a guide out from different illusions and find something to believe in. 'Shine on me' and 'Beautiful' are searching for a lost beauty, who is still somewhere there, not so close and not so far. 'Electrification' could be even a global warning. Consequence of the technological greed and a parody itself, being a electronic song.
