John writes: One of the decisions I made when I started Magnatune was to sign *artists*, not single albums, and to support their artistic direction as they mature over the years. Most artists change over the years, but it's rare for an artist to take several albums to get really, really damned good. This new album from Brad, "Aerial Views" is one of those times, when I get really excited about running Magnatune, because this album just blew me away. His music genre, which is a kind of dark, moody acoustic rock, isn't one I would normally listen to that much. This album, however, just floored me with its beautiful melodies, hooks, his slightly-high-pitched-and-slightly-rough-but-gorgeous voice. Even if this genre isn't something you'd normally be interested in, give it a listen.
