Take it easy on the caffeine and put the cat out... "Plus", the debut album of Anatoly Grinberg (Tokee) is a chemical journey through electro/IDM, rave and industrial from a satisfyingly dark electronic and technoid angle. A dark world of drug-fueled visions which takes us on an emotional soundtrack to a science-fiction movie, a blending of mechanical and organic worlds, depressive, sad and cyberpunky.

Each track pulls us through a swath of visions and emotions. From the tough, rugged break-beats of "Th" which evolves through soaring atmospheres into a trance/industrial epic, to the plaintive keystrokes on "Pa", which compliment the bottom-heavy flow nicely. Hardcore returns with "No" and "Np" and then morphs into the funky clicks and chirps of "Pu". An introspective, rainy day ambiance of "Am", descends to the seething dark-rave of "Bk". "Cf" climbs to happy hardcore territory, before grabbing your guts for a booming and vital, "Fm" which transforms into archetypical dark-rave once its own break-beat pacing cuts in. The album ends with tracks lilting to the more ambient side of Tokee such as the ominous and spiritual "Md" and then the ethereal, badly hallucinogenic "Lr". We warned you...
