New: Embed this album on your own site! Both urbane and subtly upbeat, Dark Clouds is a light-on-its-feet electronic album by Mike Bell and Mike Dz, who perform under the name Wicked Allstars and share a diverse array of influences all the way from Basement Jaxx and Hed-PE to Jay-Z and Timbaland. The strongest tracks are the ones without vocals, which are most of them. With the exception of "Happy," everything is really limber and lithesome on this album, and it's nice how the melody lines often come in mid-way through as a light, flowing influence in the music. Standout tracks include "Jazz House," "Possible New House," and "Start To Think."
