Maybe the reason Zilla is performing to so many sold out crowds these days is because of the ultra-rare musical niche they inhabit: improvised DJ set soundscapes performed by actual humans on actual instruments—no loops or sequences. Or, maybe it's just because they're a great band. In any case, Zilla is a Colorado based trio of musicians that specialize in live, improvised electronica. Be sure to listen for the great hammered dulcimer performance by Jamie Janover on the "Wicker Pilots" track and others. Full album art included with download purchase.
