Chris Rolin: Groovy smooth jazz to brighten your day.


Chris Rolin is a Maple Ridge, British Columbia born artist who has been playing guitar professionally, teaching hundreds of students and producing music for various artists over 35 years. Chris began playing the guitar at age seven and went on to attend Capilano College in the "Commercial Music Program." He is currently working on achieving his Masters of Music in Guitar from Berklee College. His experience in playing and producing ranges all genres.

Chris put out his first solo Jazz CD in the year 2014. With its title track, "120B Avenue" receiving play on over 70 stations in the smooth jazz format in Canada, the United States and United Kingdom. Chris has received feature artist on JazzNet 247 Europe and has been added twice on the most added chart for Groove Music.

Chris has produced many artists over the years - such as Ivan Doroschuk (from "Men Without Hats"), Rick Tippe,Todd Richard, Brent Lee, Ken McCoy, Aaron Jake Goodvin and many others. Chris has been selected as BCCMA Guitarist of the year five times as well as BCCMA producer of the year twice over. Chris has also been selected out of thousands of applicants across North America to study under names such as Russ Freeman of the Rippingtons, Kevin Eubanks and Stanley Jordan.
