Hailing from Orlando Florida, Firesphere is a dynamic industrial rock/metal band
combining techno and epic cinematic soundtrack to create a totally different and
unique sound. Fireshphere was created and fronted by the enigmatic dark
PRIEST and the equally dark and hypnotizing Japanese beauty ROSEMARY BUTTERFLY.
Joined by BLACKSMITH (guitar), ROADBLOCK (guitar), MASON (drums) and ALCHEMIST
(bass), together they bring a dark ageless quality to their music and live
show.
Based on the Japanese model of big music and big visuals (ala X Japan,
Hyde), the listener will not soon forget the well crafted and moving songs of
Firesphere nor will they easily forget the intensity of a live performance.
Firesphere's concept/brand is centered around a group of 'immortals' led by
Priest and Rosemary who came together in the 21st century to form Firesphere.
Each member is their own individual character with a backstory related to that
character. Priest and Rosemary found each member during the early part of the
1800's after forming the Order of the Cross and Dragon.
Firesphere will capture you in their dark cold embrace and hold you there forever (listen to the music).

Priest (Vocals/Guitar)
Simply called Priest, he has been around a very long time. As the story is told,
he was once an Egyptian High Priest to the Pharoh Amenhotep III during the 18th
Dynasty and performed a dark ancient ritual that gave him immortality. Disliking
the sunlight and living at night under the cover of the dark, some have said he
is one of the undead, a strigoi but, this is only fanciful talk whispered by
those who wish to remain unnamed.
Priest abandoned his Pharoh and began his many
journeys leading him to every part of the world thru the millenium. Finally,
after spending countless years in a Catholic monastery somewhere in the darkest
reaches of Eastern Europe atoning for his sins he finally left the solitude of
the Church in 1867, traveling to Japan where he found his one true love, the
enigmatic Rosemary Butterfly. Dark and brooding, Priest says very little.
Rather, he allows the music to speak for him.
Rosemary Butterfly (Vocals/Keyboard/Piano)
Rosemary Butterfly hails from the cold dark mountains of Northern Japan. No one
is quite sure of her age but, from what little is known about her, she is simply
ageless.
Japanese legend has it that she was born the child of the Dragon
Mother, one of Japan's first Gods, and of a human. It is said Rosemary lived a
life of solitude on her mountain home, never loving, never knowing love until
the day she met Priest. Finally, she had found the other half of her own dark
soul.
Of course, these are all just rumors quietly spoken of among the Japanese
people in the surrounding villages even to this day. Whatever she may be, her
love for Priest knows no rival. Rosemary has a haunting and alluring voice that
has the power to capture the mind, heart and soul in its snare.
Blacksmith (Guitar)
Forged from the ancient battelfields of time and cast into the world we know.
From the fire and steam of his lair emerges Blacksmith. It is told in stories
passed down through the ages that Blacksmith was very well known throughout the
land. Great armies knew of his craft and his almost supernatural ability to
forge steel into weapons of incredible destruction.
It is also told Blacksmith carries a great price for creating such weapons. The
souls of the innocent who lost their lives because of his creations would
forever haunt him. It is said that on the darkest of nights you can hear his
strings of steel crying to the heavens a song for those lost souls.
Roadblock (Guitar)
Born to Sir Walter Rittenhouse in the early part of the sixteenth century, the
man who many years later would become known as Roadblock, grew to become a famed
Knight in the King's court.
Known far and wide for his strength and kindness, overtime he came to detist the
cruelty and injustice the King raught upon his subjects. It is said that, one
cold winters night a witch in the guise of a beautiful maiden brought the Knight
a small glass vile of a blood red elixar. She told him that it would allow him
to continue living long after mortal men had passed on, maybe even forever. He
drank the bitter elixar, the burning fluid coursing thru his veins.
With a renewed purpose, the Knight set out to fight against his King and for the
people he treated with such cruelty. Centuries passed and the age of the Knight
eventually came to a close but, for Roadblock, his campaign against injustice
continued thru the ages no matter where he found it.
Mason (Drums)
At dawn on October 13, 1307, agents of King Phillip hungry for gold and
treasure, began arresting members of the infamous Order of the Knights Templars.
Although many Templars were found and placed in shackles, many more escaped and
disappeared into the mists of time with their treasure.
As the story goes, hired
by the King in 1308, a young but gifted mercenary set out to hunt down the
remaining Templars and find the treasure. His task was simple, kill as many
Templars as he could lay his hands on and bring their vast treasure back to the
King. This talented mercenary's name was Mason. For centuries, he stalked the
secretive and elusive Templars even after King Phillip was long dead.
Those who encountered Mason thru the years always noted that he never seem to
age. They would say that he must have surely made a pact with the Devil himself
to remain forever young. 700 years later Mason now puts his mercenary aggression
and skills into his drums but, he will always be that young mercenary at heart.
Fact or fiction? No one really knows.
Alchemist (Bass)
It is told that, many centuries ago a man, known today as Alchemist, was in
search for a way to turn base metals into gold. His was a dark art and
considered the work of the devil at the time. Alchemist toiled day and night
looking for that one combination of ingredients that would finally help him
achieve his dream, the ever elusive Philosopher's Stone.
One dark moonless night, as Alchemist worked into the wee hours of the morning,
he struck upon elements that, when combined, put off a cloud of thick black
smoke which filled the room. The smoke filled his nostrils and he quickly passed
out. When he awoke the next morning he found everything as it had been the night
before but, he was somehow different.
As the years passed, Alchemist found that
he never grew sick and did not grow old but, he paid a high price for
immortality. Anyone who looked into his face would die so, he forever after had
to keep his face covered, hidden from those around him. Although he had not
found the Philosopher's Stone he so desparately desired he had found, quite by
accident, the elixir of life. Now, as bass guitarist for the band Firesphere, he
turns metal, not into gold but, into thundering music.
