I am JAY LOVE. I'm straight out of ATL, GA. Representing southside,
residing on the Eastside baby. I've had quite an affair with hip hop.
Beginning as a B-Boy/breakdancer, transitioning to deejay and evolving as
a producer/artist. While producing is my passion, performing fulfills all the
thrills life could offer.
I started making beats for friends in my hood. Eventually one of my beats
got the attention of local rap star Kilo All. Who knew a chance collabo with
Kilo would jump start my career as a producer. I have worked alongside some of the
the ATL's brightest stars. Including Black Dave whose 1999 classic Big
Mama (Go Big Girl) peaked at #l0 on the Billboard charts and landed a
feature spot in Martin Lawrence's Big Momma's House. Other acts include Lil
Jon, Khia, Ying Yan Twins, Outkast, Ciara, Tytiana Ali, Ms Jazz, Cool
Breeze, Young Ralph, Pastor Troy 12 Gauge and a few others.
My 2009 single release "In Your Face" was adapted by Fox 5 and Ken
Rodriguez (host of Fox's Sports show high 5 Sports) as their theme song and can still be heard to this day. That single came from my freshman
album "EGO-CENTRIC". Consequently I went on to create a number of theme
songs for Fox which solidified my relationship with them.
Currently I'm producing a new cd aimed @ the world of film and tv licensing
and also dance clubs. You would be surprised how much money the film and
tv industry generates in music licensing revenue. I consider myself to be
more skilled than talented. However I'm always looking to collaborate with
other singer/songwriters/rap artist. Collaborations make some of the best
music. No matter how hard it gets never give up on your dreams. I'm living
proof dreams can come thru smart work and perseverance.
My sophomore album is titled "Party Til Sunrise" is scheduled for
early September release. The first single is Ching Ching (Bling Bling). The
response this far has been great!
