Jonathan James:
Classics for a new age.
Jonathan James is a composer and music producer of instrumental
classically based music.
Jonathan is a classically trained musician who started
on the piano at the age of five. He then studied music composition while at
DePaul University in Chicago. While at DePaul, Jonathan was Music Producer for
the independent filmmaker and DePaul University's film school faculty
instructor, Michael Peterson, on his production "Grace on the Green Line."
Jonathan has also produced the recording of Felix Mendelssohn's "Midsummer
Night's Dream Overture," as well as had his music performed at Chicago's
historic jazz lounge "The Green Mill."
Jonathan's albums comprise of all types of instrumental music. From melodious
Hollywood type scores, new age synth, late romantic style compositions, and
contemporary modern classical music.
