Nodal: Jazzy kaleidoscopes with a hint of folk and rock.

Nodal is a musical duo consisting of multi-instrumentalist Dario Della Monica and percussionist Luca Panizzolo. The two found together when they went looking for a project in which to create a collection of emotional paintings that has its roots in their respective musical and personal backgrounds.

Categorizing Nodal's music isn't an easy feat, since it blends and transforms various genres and styles in every single track. All in all, it more closely resembles an attitude than any specific kind of music, in that the duo loves the unexpeted.

So get ready for experimentations with ethnic percussion instruments, acoustic and electric guitars, violin, brass sections, acoustic and electric piano, flute, acoustic drumset, accordion, electric bass, all with a tastefull dash of electronic music.

For its self-produced album "flowing tangles", NODAL collaborated with musicians from jazz and from folk and acoustic rock, who each brought in their specific style and experience. On said album, the listener's ear is led to perceive not the single colors but the totality of the eclectic and instrumental sound painting.
