Sense Overload is Sophia's first pop EP release. She is best known for her hard rock band Wicked Wench as singer, songwriter and bass guitarist. Sophia writes whatever comes to her whether it be rock, pop, dance and ballads. She writes from the heart of her personal experiences based on her feelings and things she sees in the world.
The Sense Overload single is a cheeky and fun song with a sexy bass line of which she recorded. Sophia loves to express her cheeky side through her music as well as in her stage performances. Sense Overload is pure sexual indulgence.
Transport Me is about how one feels on the dance floor by using creative space terminology. Fun and quirky, this catchy little tune will get your body moving. Another dance track called Fallen Paradise, is a song about taking back control over governmental oppression and "waking up" to the world around you.
Breaking Down The Walls is the personal struggle one goes through knowing change is about to happen. Knowing change needs to happen and allowing yourself to move past your fear and breaking into a new chapter in life and leaving the past behind.
Is This What Heaven's Like is a beautiful dreamy song reflecting on an escapism of fantasy. When you listen to this song, it makes you feel relaxed letting go of your stress and taking the journey with Sophia into the clouds in the sky. One can only feel happiness when listening to this song. Warning, goosebumps may appear!

Mike McGuill's latest Magnatune release, Modern Carols, is an ambitious collection of modern instrumental interpretations of some of our best-loved Christmas melodies.
On Modern Carols, Mike blends his trademark electronic edge and innovation with the fun, warmth and nostalgia of the holiday season, to create a genuinely unique festive sound, and an album that's the perfect fit for an alternative Christmas experience.
Traditional seasonal favourites are given an up-to-date twist, with arrangements that take inspiration from across the broad church of today's electronic and alternative sounds.
From a playful, toybox-orchestra re-telling of 'Joy to the World', to a Mark-Ronson-style big beat rendition of 'We Three Kings'; from a pulsing, ambient take on medieval choral song 'Coventry Carol', to a dream-like 'Silent Night' arranged for piano, double bass and tape loops, this is an adventurous, imaginative and thoroughly modern Christmas album.
Perfect for anyone looking for something a bit different in their seasonal listening.

Celtic harp and bamboo flutes. Soft and soothing, perfect for quiet times and relaxation
Magical music for the Christmas season. Harps, flutes and assorted rare acoustic
instrumentation make up this enchanting recording of traditional holiday
favorites.
I love Christmas music, I have played it year after year and I never tire of it.
This recording was long overdue. I made a Christmas record 10 years ago called
Celestial Winds "Christmas Morning." It was a lovely record for the time but
after all these years, I knew I could do a much better one. So I took some of my
very favorites from the record, re-recorded them with George playing flutes, did
my very best arrangements and chose some new tunes to record as well. This time
around I have much more resources to produce a high quality audio recording.
When I hear the older Christmas Morning recording, I feel the sound quality is
rather murky, and there are too many sound effects on the harp and especially
the flutes. To much echo effects. It was ok for that time, but these days I
prefer the more natural sound of the instruments.
"Silent Night" is all traditional music with the exception of one original tune
called "Morning Star" that I wrote a few years back that just seemed to fit in
perfect. So far its been extremely well received, people say they play it all
the time, even when its not the season.. so that makes me happy. It's an honor to
be a part of so many folks holiday memories.
