Album:A Place of Hope

I created this track as a contribution to the Saving Cecil's Pride project built around stopping poachers and saving wildlife. In this track I wanted to capture the feeling of Africa and hope for the future of wildlife there.

My Heart Is A Castle is both reflective and meditative, taking the listener on a journey through an eternal timeless space. Get ready for beautiful guitar compositions rich in melody, mood and atmosphere. The melodies on David Modica's new album are innovative, inspiring, unique, tranquil, and relaxing. Layers of acoustic and electric guitar are masterfully woven into powerful soundscapes.

Orpheus

In Greek mythology, Orpheus was effectively the embodiment of music: a sublime musician, born of a Muse, taught by Apollo, capable of charming all the creatures of the world with his lyre. Gentle, soulful, evocative: these are words which would probably have described such music, and which also describe the sound of the lute. While not purporting to come close to so great a gift as that of Orpheus, this album can be regarded as a tribute to the kind of music that he might have played. As the Classics inspired the early thinkers, artists and musicians of the Renaissance, so they have partly inspired this album, which is like stepping into a dream.
