Vere means Truth.

Post truth, filter bubbles, propaganda, science, facts, rumors, conspiranoia, confirmation bias, fake news, fake views. All of this is Vere.

This is the first release since the soundtrack from Figuras Rotas in 2015. It also is the first after having collaborated with Marasma Zibra between 2015 and 2017.

Vere also means a return to a sound more focused on beats and with a style that we didn't hear since earlier productions, such as Exótica or Vitam.

The design and 3D render of the cover is by Ramón Ramos.

"Under The Sacred Tree" is Koshanin's second solo piano album. This collection of piano pieces features original compositions as well as his unique arrangements of select traditional folk songs from the Slavic lands, including Russia, Serbia and Macedonia. Koshanin further explores these folk melodies and the odd time-signature characteristics of the music from the Balkan region, reviving them in a new, non-traditional context. His continuous search for beauty and simplicity in music gives this album a peaceful, reflective mood.

I wrote this album as a retreat for those needing a comfy blanket and a cup of hot cocoa for comfort from those heavy days. I love the coziness of holiday music but I wanted to have a record that could give you that warmth and coziness when it wasn't holiday time! The songs are all gentle piano/vocals- no angst, no despair.

So anytime you just want to hide under the covers, phone turned off, with a mug of chamomile tea, this album is your soundtrack.

Hypnotic and touching, like in a strange dream, this album is built with strings and percussion instruments, punctuated with sweetly sorrowfully played piano pieces. Sometimes moving and emotional and then heartwarming and uplifting. As with certain books or movies, it feels like being disconnected, to undertake a journey towards a world of enchanting glockenspiels, ethereal strings, naive and soothing piano melodies.
