Life in Reverse by Almer and Nirvan Almer and Nirvan : Life in Reverse.
Soulful balkan duo featuring acoustic guitars and voice.

The songs we bring to you are a mix of originals and our own arrangements of old sevdalinkas, popular across the ex-Yugoslavia region. The actual composers as well as its origin are mostly unknown, so we can only hope that we will give justice and proper respect to those amazing musicians who came before us and made this distinctive sound.

Lets rewind for a moment?

Rakija, an alcoholic beverage with its origin in the Balkan region, can be found on every household table during celebrations, weddings, funerals, and even in times of sickness because many believe in its deep-rooted medicinal powers. It's no surprise then that this same drink brought Almer and Nirvan together, thousands of miles away from their homeland, and in one drunken night gave them the inspiration to take off on this unique musical journey that we hope you all will enjoy.

Disclaimer to our listeners: this album is best enjoyed with your own glass or two of rakija and a mezza plate.

Enjoy!!
