ElectRockProg(con)Fusion is an instrumental album which is quite heterogeneous in style and hard to classify; you'll find some relaxing and contemplative tracks but also many groovy compositions. In terms of genre, the tracks offer blends between electronica and prog rock - coined synthprogrock by Audio70 himself. Influences like electronic / ambient (in the style of Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Orzic Tentacles), classic progressive rock (Rick Wakeman, Alan Parsons, Focus, etc.) are all represented on this album. Thus, there isn't necessarily a common thread.

Hypnosis '80 is the opening track, which starts in a fairly classical electronic style and then transforms into a rock / fusion big band style. The resulting piece is full of progressive rock influences, with various references to electronic atmospheres. Six Sharpened Blades is in jazzrock style with elements of electronica, fusion and progressive rock. After the tension introduced by the first three tracks, culminated to the maximum with the brass finale of Six Sharpened Blades, Barracuda brings a nice moment of relaxation. A new age piece, it has a relaxed but very catchy theme at the start and then progresses into pure nocturnal atmosphere. A Dog's Eyes is a short new age piece of about two minutes with a very catchy theme played by a synthesizer and an oboe. Hypersequence consists of a long crescendo with styles similar to Vangelis and Ozric Tentacles and then transforms to a jazzrock / fusion style. This is followed by Making Decisions, a tune based on synthetic sounds and classic strings, which offers pure progressive rock with some virtuoso moments but also with more relaxing atmospheres. The album ends with Waiting for the Black Knight, which is equally a song in a classical progressive rock style. Get ready for a fairly articulated track that includes symphonic moments but also more delicate and introspective atmospheres.
