The press has described Stephen Schultz as "among the most flawless artists on the baroque flute," and here he teams up with Elizabeth Blumenstock of the "hair trigger virtuosity" on violin for a deeply charismatic performance of Joseph Bodin de Boismortier's sonatas. We always love it when such fresh, vibrant sensibilities are brought to bear on baroque compositions, and this album has been in heavy rotation since we got it.
