Diometrix : Newfoundland.
Ambient post-rock from the cold heart of siberia.
diometrix fans have said numerous times that the music on NEWFOUNDLAND miraculously conveys the atmosphere of unity with nature. For one
there seems to be a rain, for another endless ocean, and thirdly giant icebergs on the Northern pole. The mere fact that
diometrix members live in Siberia, is reflected in their creations. The
picturesque nature of far-eastern Russia, with its fluffy snow and
dense forests, cold winters and rainy autumns makes itself felt in NEWFOUNDLAND. Without getting into the genres, diometrix themselves
classify their music as Siberian, with an emphasis on the fact that
there is the spirit of this extraordinary place within it. You have the
unique opportunity to let a little piece of cold Siberia into your
home, along with diometrix music.
