DP Kaufman : Lullabies for the Apocalypse.
Ambient, melodic electronica meets neo-classical.
Lullabies for the Apocalypse is meant to create the image of a father telling
stories to his child in the midst of a chaotic environment; sonically complex,
accessible melodies set against the backdrop of darker, brooding textures and
rhythms. While certainly within the ambient electronic category, it still
maintains an organic warmth and richness often absent within the genre.
Songs:
1. Where the Storm Will Never Reach
2. Bravery
3. A Promise
4. This Was Never Our Mountain
5. Why The Leaves Glow
6. They're Chasing a Feeling
7. You Smile With a Quiet Defiance
8. Certainty Blanket
9. The Poem Your Grandfather Told
10. Only The Comfortable Grow Old
