JS Bach on Guitar and Ukulele by Daniel Estrem Daniel Estrem : JS Bach on Guitar and Ukulele.
Colorful classical guitar.

Daniel Estrem's transcriptions of Johann Sebastian Bach's work begins with the brilliant Partita no. 1 (BWV 825). Many would consider this to be the most light-hearted of the six Partitas for keyboard. Underlying the playful nature of the music is a dense concentration of musical ideas and detail.

This recording displays the ukulele's novel melodic voice and unique blend with the classical guitar. The full spectrum of sound is used with the ukulele reaching the high end while the 8-string guitar deals adeptly with the bass. The ukulele is heard on tracks 1, 3, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 31.
