Magnatune Remixed : Ridin the Faders 2.
Four stones' magnatune remix project.
We were thrilled when we heard that Victor Stone, Lo Tag Blanco, Pat Chilla, and other ccMixter superstars were once again planning to have their way with the Magnatune catalog. Unlike the legions of Buddha Bar clones that have sprung up worldwide, Stone draws from a wider palette than most remixers ever consider, and the result are tracks not merely sleek and cool?they're actually musically interesting! "I'm The I" (8) is an especially hot one and of course we flipped over the Magnatune-themed "We Are Not Evil" track (11) featuring Clarance Boddyker, a South Bronx rapper with style to burn. Oh and check out the very last track to hear a voice that may be familiar.
