Jake Bradford-Sharp : The Network.
Experimental nu jazz that cannot be classified or categorized.
"A bit of a departure from my recent releases, The Network is a dark and brooding album written with the contrast of light and dark in mind. I spent some time exploring dark and heavy beats, blended with light and floaty melodies. A lot of the album was written whilst in transit so the majority of the sounds were recorded using various apps and programs on my old iPhone 4, then transferred to computer(s) for mixing. Over the years I've kept it with me, knowing I'll eventually find the right time to release it.
I've been sat with this album for a while - a good few years - but it's great to be happy with the results, and to find some time to perfect the tracks ready for commercial release." - Jake
Inspired by electronic artists such as Four Tet, Caribou, Thom Yorke (solo albums), Modeselektor and Moderat, amongst many others. All sounds heard were recorded on various apps & programs on iPhone 4, iPhone 5C, then transferred to Logic Express 7 & later, Logic Pro X to mix and master.
