Bullfrog is the second release from blues/rock band Kettleblack. The album features the debuts of Aaron Barnes on bass, as well as Brian Lara on drums. The new players, coupled with Sam Sasso on lead vocals/guitar and Jon Siembieda on guitar, combined with the unique setting of recording the album in the home studio of Aaron Barnes (self recorded, self engineered, and self-produced by Kettleblack), creates a rootsy earthiness to the rock and roll tones on this album.

The spectrum of influences for Kettleblack can be heard on this album, from throwback-sounding songs like "Oh Well", to more modern rock such as "Wait For It", power ballads like "Same Day", and pop rock with "Wake Up (Norma Jean) and "Free Love".
