The Lamaj Movement by Maneli Jamal Maneli Jamal : The Lamaj Movement.
East through to west acoustic guitar.

The Lamaj Movement is a concept album where every song takes the listener on a part of his history growing up in five countries (Belarus, Iran, Germany, USA and Canada). A homage to his family's nomadic journey around the world.

A word from Maneli Jamal:
"This concept album is dedicated to my family's nomadic journey around the world. I tried my best to capture our journey through music, to take you, the listener, where I once stood, to feel what I lived. As hard as it was at times on our travels, we learned a great deal in the process. I know I wouldn't be able to express myself with the guitar the way I do, if it weren't for these experiences I encountered as a youth. But in retrospect, all six family members agree that where we are now is a much better place.

I hope you enjoy these compositions and are inspired to reflect on your own history, rediscovering the treasurable stories that lie there."
