Toni Castells : Unharmed.
Puccini meets sigur rós.
Unharmed: Unharmed was conceived between 2004 and 2007 in London. It deals with Toni's
start of a new life in a new land and the heightened uncertainty of human
condition he experienced. His constant struggle to understand the meaning of
life as such, and how he discovers that love is the only thing that brings
meaning to his existence.
Toni met Spanish star singer Beth Rodergas during this time, her becoming the
voice of some of the most iconic songs in the album. Irish wonder Roberta
Howett, jazz jewell Gracie Patton and New Zealander soprano Amelia Whiteman also
added their unique voices to this album. Beau, the most special track in the
album, was created in conjunction with artist Michela Magas, who wrote the lyric
and melody of lead singer.
The album was released digitally in 2007 and soon reached the iTunes Top 20
download charts. It was released in 2008 in physical format under the Instant
Attraction independent label. It now sells over 15 different countries having
created an established and heterogeneous fan-base defying genres, styles and
trends.
