Timecode by MRDC MRDC : Timecode.
Eclectic electro-garage with soulful singing.

Timecode was the first album and the birth of the MRDC sound that came out of a group of songs and Ideas I had recorded for all the media productions I had worked on. My friends had heard some of the things I was working on and suggested I release an album of songs and put them on the Internet. So I started remixing and restructuring the tracks I liked. When I was finished I presented my album ideas to a few friends via mp3.com and it kinda took off from there. A couple years later I stumbled on Magnatune and with the opportunity to change a couple things that bugged me I officially released Timecode with its new cover art and remix and fix of a few tracks. With Timecode and my subsequent releases my approach has always been "Whatever Works" I'm not a vocalist or lyricist so I use and edit samples to say the things I want that I can't with just the music tracks. I play or program all the instruments and tracks always.
