Vito Paternoster : Bach-Paternoster.
Cellist extraordinaire.
Of the 3 sonatas for viola da gamba and harpsichord BWV 1027-1028-1029, the original manuscript was never found.
Vito Paternoster, in an imaginative and hypothetical reconstruction, has imagined 3 Concerts for 2 cello strings and harpsichord, and two sonatas for cello and continuo from the two for violin BWV 1021, 1023.
Though it sounds as though several performers were playing on this album, there's really only one: Vito Paternoster.
