The West Exit : Nocturne.
Soulful electro pop.
Nocturne is a great album. It's got a great retro-disco feel, but on top of that it's just an unusually elegant work of pop? perfect harmonies, superb mood, and a fantastic ratio of dance-y/party energy to mellow, mid-tempo goodness. We've found that it's the absolute perfect thing to have on for a evening cocktails, because it keeps things the energy really up and buzzy without overwhelming anything. "Artificial" is one of the best tracks in the entire Magnatune catalog, and the entire album is just totally feel-good all around: positive, stylish, sexy, soulful.
