Windpearl : H A P P Project.
Eclectic, atmospheric hard electronica with a helping of chiptune sounds and drum & bass.
The H.A.P.P. Project mini-album is a side project which Gabriel hadn't planned to release under the Windpearl band initially. But ultimately it made more sense to release this mini-album as a part of the Windpearl discography. It was released on March 27, 2018.
The album makes you travel through the ages and is divided in four parts, each standing for an Eon:
Hadean: Music about the beginning of planet Earth about 4.6 billion years ago, inspired by the Hadean eon when there was no life yet because our planet was still a glowing and burning ball circling the sun. Imagine dsolated landscapes, impacts, and strong winds.
Archean: Inspired by the Archean eon. Back then, the Earth cooled down and the landscapes were made of huge volcanoes, naked rocks, steam, acid rains, and electric storms. Oceans formed and life began its journey.
Proterozoic: Inspired by the third eon of the Earth, the Proterozoic eon, where early life experimented with various forms. Animalia and Plantae clades were already thriving.
Phanerozoic: Inspired by the Phanerozoic eon, which stands for an explosion of life, fish and more complex out-of-water life forms. It started around 541 million years ago, and still continues today.
