Allen Cote: American folk music sessions with feel good vibes.

"He speaks directly to the listener, almost with a burning hunger, but it's not necessarily love he's craving. It seems as though he wants some sort of commiseration between artists, or sympathy, or maybe, an agreement between the listener and the songwriter that there's something greater than either of them."
- Casey Grove, The Anchorage Express, 8-2-07

"Combining Jeff Tweedy's heart with Townes Van Zandt's delivery, Allen Coté bridges genres and generations with conviction. Since moving to Milwaukee in 2007, Coté has played more than 300 shows and risen to be among the most respected players in the city's musical pantheon thanks to honesty and passion that run soul-deep."
- Eric Levin, Underground and Intercontinental, 8-6-10
