Julian Blackmore is a New York City-based composer and musician, where he writes, produces and performs music for film, tv, theatre and other media. His music has been performed live at Merkin Concert Hall (NYC), 54 Below (NYC), Barrington Stages (MA), and heard on MTV, E! Entertainment, Telemundo and the BBC. Drawing from a rich variety of genres, his original music can be as driving and persuasive as it can lyrical and sensitive. Always fresh and exciting, he combines captivating harmonic progressions with strong melodic lines and sonic experimentation, giving rise to wildly different work from musical theatre to ambient and electronic.
