Stane Špegel, also known as Monom, HouseMouse, and Stanislav, has been active in the Slovenian arts scene as a composer,
instrumentalist, producer, and creator of multimedia content for four decades. He has released 25 solo albums that cover a wide range of styles,
as well as 10 albums as a member of various bands (The Stoj, Fuzzit, Amfibia, Neurobic, BioNet, Dig, Kissik, etc.). As a member of the Microtrip
collective, he has performed at all major electronic and experimental music festivals in Central Europe over the past thirty years. His compositions
have appeared on several domestic and international music compilations, and he has produced remixes for tracks by foreign artists such as Air, Jamez,
Chris Liebing, Sestre, Elevators, and Eric Satie. He has won numerous international music competitions and contests.
In addition to his work as a musician, Stane is also involved in creating musical equipment for theatrical and dance performances, as well as
for public events. He has produced more than twenty solo music-visual performances/exhibitions that combine his sculptures, graphics, relief
landscapes, and video films with his original music. His video films have been featured at several domestic and international video festivals.
Stane has also written, co-written, and directed multiple commemorative events for political, cultural, fashion, and sports occasions.
